Not by bread alone…

"And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." (Luke 4, 3-4).

Even Jesus was tried by the devil…
He uses always the human weakness… he knows what makes us fall…
He is very smart on the human echelon… but he didn’t and still don’t know the power of God…
What does mean this life without the word of God?
What is fame when it faces death?
What is richness?
What does it mean to you? Is it just eating, sleeping and waking up every morning?
The devil makes us suffer from earthy things… he uses our materialism! He makes us cry for anything, and the only purpose is “forget about God”…
His power is on our body… he uses it to the extremes so our soul will kneel to him…
He wants us to say: I will do what you want… this God didn’t give me anything but suffering! I want you to fill my life my dear “god”!
Say this and you may become a billionaire… you may have everything you dreamt about… fame, lovers, sex, success… but remember, everything has a price… and what you pay him is your soul to keep the hell’s fire on…
Do you want to lose your eternity for some days of fake happiness?!
Tell him that life is nothing without the word of God… and neither cars nor houses, nor all existent diamonds may change anything…
Be stuck to what the devil desires and when you will die, maybe you will find someone to cry on you and maybe not, but be sure that there will be no one to welcome and hug you…

My Father’s Business!

“And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? Behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them how is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? (Luke 2;3, 45-49).

The mission… a simple word that can describe a whole life…
No one can stand against… and it will continue even if the entire world stands against it…
“My law is not human made! I’m not here to accomplish what people draw for my life in their close minds or even to please someone!”…
The Lord Jesus had his mission… and accomplished it… even he accepted death because it was the “Father’s” will to save the humanity…
Well… “We” the weak persons, do we know that we have a mission? Will we accept one day this mission and simply close our ears to what will say Sana & Bana & Lana & Dad & Mom…? Will we accomplish it one day? Will we have the courage to say “yes, yes” and “no, no” not “yes or no” depending on the situation that keeps us alive in a big lie called “secondary life”!!

The visit of the three kings…

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” (Matthew 2, 1-2)

Impressive image… men from the atheist east that followed a big sign in the skies…
Do we still have a group of these, which watch all the skies’ signs and specially read it well?!
And while saying the skies’ signs, I’m not talking about Capricorn or about any other commercial sign!
As everything in the Bible is a message, to whom will it be?!
The Bible does not support or push to believe in magic or in magicians…
The message is to the people of God that was near the light and couldn’t see it… or maybe refused to see it…
A king in a crib… not a king in a luxurious home… not a king with armies, but a one that will govern love and peace… and his lovers are no longer “people” but sons…

Not a house of merchandise

…Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; and said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise… (John 13-16)

A strong message… but no one wants to hear it…
When the Church of God became a mall, just because it is the market’s request or to keep the people around is really a mind’s sickness… do you need me to repeat again: the house of God is not a house of merchandise?
The ones who are still thinking that by throwing 2 doves, or one lamp, or whatever so that God will forgive them, are not and will not be forgiven…

The forgiveness is something between you & God, and surely it is higher than this materialism… if not, the only forgiven ones are the rich people who can buy troops of lamps and cows… Do you think that our God is a blood or barbecue lover?!
Don’t lie to yourself, and especially don’t let them lie to you… do you think that you can sell to God what he gave you freely?!
Dear sisters & brothers, our God is a hearts lover, and that’s all what he wants… and everything else is worthless…

About the Sabbath

“the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.”
“Is it lawful on the Sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? To save a life or to destroy it?”
“Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.” (Luke)

In the real life we do this so many times per day, to not say per hour…
How much you see yourself attached to a word or to a phrase in the Bible, while forgetting the real meaning of each word and phrase… the real and only meaning which is LOVE…
Look backward, or as a spectator… do you agree to keep a brother in pain, to please a word and not the Lord?!
